Discover Scuba Diving is an exciting introduction to underwater breathing for beginners, consisting of a one-and-a-half hour water experience led by a PADI Certified Instructor. Here, participants learn basic diving skills such as breathing techniques and equalisation of ears plus how to operate their equipment properly; plus learn about marine life that may come your way as well as respecting our planet!
After a short theory lesson, you will get into the water to practice some easy diving skills in shallow water with your instructor’s watchful guidance. The PADI Open Water Course is your gateway to becoming a certified scuba diver. This comprehensive training teaches the fundamentals of diving in different environments.
Dive snorkeling can be an exciting new way to discover underwater exploration and discovery! Plus, it opens up an ocean full of possibilities!
The course begins with theory, including watching PADI Open Water Diver videos and reading the manual, five Knowledge Reviews, four quizzes and then taking an exam – this ensures you fully grasp all of the material covered and are confident answering questions on your scuba diving certification exam.
Once you have mastered the theory, it is time for pool training. Here you will learn to use scuba equipment such as mask, snorkel, fins, regulator and buoyancy control device (BCD). Your swimming ability will be assessed through 200 meters swimming and 10 minutes survival float assessment early in the course; moreover you will practice various skills like breathing underwater, entering/exiting the water safely, buddy rescue/navigation.
After your successful pool session, come join us for four Open Water dives on Cozumel’s stunning coral reefs for some exciting Open Water diving action! Here you will see vibrantly-hued coral formations, schools of tropical fish and larger creatures like sea turtles or nurse sharks!
eLearning offers you a way to complete the PADI Open Water Course faster by letting you complete all of the theory before coming to Cozumel – this allows for less classroom time, making it ideal for people who prefer learning at their own pace and on their own schedule.
Your physical Open Water Course remains essential, but this Scuba Diver certification offers an easier option if time or travel are tight. While diving to only 40 feet with a qualified dive professional may limit it somewhat, it provides a great introduction into diving for children aged 10-11 as well as being more budget friendly than its counterpart.

All adventure dives help develop existing skills while teaching entirely new ones.
Learn to use your dive computer, conduct drift dives and dive at night – as well as planning and executing a wreck dive, an experience all divers should try at least once in their lives.
After you complete your required dives, you may also select two additional adventure dives that spark your interest. Your options are virtually limitless; only your imagination and that of your instructor should limit what dives you choose to participate in.
Peak Performance Buoyancy, Wreck Diving and Night Diving are some of the most popular additional dives. Night diving provides divers with a fantastic opportunity to witness sea creatures that don’t surface during daylight hours – many find this skill truly enjoyable.
PADI Advanced Open Water course opens up your dive options significantly and allows you to dive sites that would have previously been inaccessible without it. After successfully completing an AOW course with your buddy you will be certified for diving at 30 meters (100 feet), however a Master Scuba Diver certification allows for diving up to 60 meters (200 feet). Many divers choose this path towards professional diving as it expands their dive opportunities further and gives them more options and gives them greater opportunity for career advancement.

Is There Padi Rescue Diver Courses In Cozumel?

PADI Rescue Diver course is considered one of our students’ most challenging yet rewarding courses they’ve taken, increasing confidence as divers and giving them knowledge that can be applied across a wide variety of diving situations, from planning dives to handling emergencies.
The course consists of three to four days of knowledge development and rescue exercises in both confined water and open water environments, simulating diving emergencies such as helping someone on the surface or underwater, panicked divers, or unconscious divers.
As part of your dive training, you will practice various methods for towing divers, administer first aid and emergency oxygen, improve your diving skills by performing rescues from both surfaces and underwater depths, become acquainted with detailed procedures for searching for missing divers, and expand your powers of observation to become more aware of divers who may be experiencing stress underwater.
Once you have successfully completed a PADI Rescue Diver course and demonstrated your skills, you’ll become certified as such. This certification entitles you to dive anywhere around the globe with a buddy as long as your instructor is present – it is a highly useful qualification, and one which should definitely be considered if professional diving is your goal.
To be eligible to enroll in this course, participants must be at least 15 years old and possess either the PADI Open Water certification or another qualifying certification from an alternative training organization. In addition, good physical health must also be present and any medical conditions that could compromise diving safety must be avoided before signing a SCUBA medical questionnaire with their doctor before beginning this training course.
PADI ReActivate is an ideal way for certified divers looking to resume diving after taking some time away. Comprised of three classroom and two pool sessions, you will cover all necessary theory while practicing your diving skills in a fun, safe environment.
